Writer, Charles Messina is a native New Yorker, born and raised in Greenwich Village. He is a graduate of New York University. At NYU, Messina won the Baffin Award for Best Newcomer to the NYU/GSP Theater. He also served as Director of the NYU Interactive Theater Program.
Messina directed the current off-Broadway hit run of "Cirque Jacqueline", the one-woman show about the life of Jackie Kennedy Onassis, starring Andrea Reese. Stage Press Weekly called
the show, "Warm, interesting, entertaining, and humanizing". Backstage hails Cirque Jacqueline as "Magnifique!"
